At the heart of all people-driven companies is community. That’s why Sequoia recently launched The Grove Community, an online forum exclusive for Sequoia clients, bringing together the brightest minds in HR and finance. It’s a place where like-minded leaders can ask questions, share tips, and form connections with fellow pioneers in the space.

Whether you’re a dedicated Grove user, new contributor, or just curious about joining the platform, here are four tips to help you make the most of your Grove experience.

1. Start a Conversation in the Benefits & Wellbeing section

Managing individuals’ benefits and wellbeing is deeply personal and important—which means you’ve learned a lot over the course of your career. Why not start a conversation and share your expertise?

Head over to the Benefits & Wellbeing section, which has become a hub for sharing insights and learnings. The hottest conversations happening right now surround family planning, parental leave policies, and addressing employee burnout. If your company has any great family initiatives, there’s never been a better time to jump in and share!

2. Ask a Question in the Workplace & People section

As we slowly adjust to a new normal amid a global pandemic, it’s no secret that HR leaders are in uncharted territory. Luckily, you’re not in this alone. The Grove Online Community is a safe, welcome place to ask questions about your return-to-work policies and receive feedback from fellow industry experts.

Conversations currently buzzing in the group include discussions around how companies are handling contact tracing and adjusting compensation when employees move out of state. As we enter this brand-new way of working safely and effectively, there’s comfort in knowing the community has your back.

3. Connect Outside of the Community

Let’s say you started a conversation in The Grove Community, and an HR professional replies, leading to a deeper discussion. You may realize you’d like this professional relationship to extend beyond the thread! This is happening regularly on The Grove—and the platform is facilitating these relationships with a direct messaging feature, allowing private conversations to continue one-on-one.

The Grove is becoming a launching pad for new LinkedIn connections and professional friendships. If you’ve been looking for a way to expand your network, The Grove is a perfect place to start.

4. Let Your Voice Be Heard

Is there an HR technology tool you’ve always dreamed of having? When you’re using one of Sequoia’s existing products, do you have ideas that can make them even better? On The Grove, you can make your voice heard.

With a click, you can directly provide feedback on products within the Grove Community. Additionally, you can visit the Ideas section and share new features you’d like to add to a Sequoia product, or HR problems you think technology can help solve. The sky’s the limit!

Ready to get started? All you need to do is tap “Community” on your top toolbar in HRX. We’ll see you in there!
