Sequoia Launches the Return to Work Center with Partners One Medical and Wilson Sonsini’s SixFifty

Employers can manage and communicate COVID-19 care, compliance, policies and action plans to support a safe return to the workplace

SAN FRANCISCO – May 14, 2020 – Sequoia, a pioneer in Total People Investment, today announced a software solution called the Sequoia Return to Work Center™. The Return to Work (RTW) Center helps companies successfully manage the transition back to a healthy and productive workplace during this unprecedented crisis. Sequoia’s RTW Center will directly support:

  • Employee Health & Safety – Daily self-screening, return to work tools, and access to healthcare, when and where they need it
  • Business Health & Safety – Central hub to manage cohorts, shifts, screening, policies, employee consents, and employee & cohort manager alerts and communications

The Sequoia RTW Center provides a unique toolset for company leadership to assist in decision making and taking action. It includes a top-rated employee mobile app to enable timely communications between the employer and their employees as well as access to digital health and benefits resources. The RTW Center integrates services and content from healthcare provider One Medical and law firm Wilson Sonsini’s SixFifty to create a holistic approach to reopening the workplace.

The new solution maps to Sequoia‘s Return to Work Framework™ which guides employers on managing a safe and productive workplace by helping them:

  1. Create dynamic policies, powered by Wilson Sonsini’s SixFifty COVID-19 policy engine;
  2. Set up testing and care with elements of One Medical’s ‘Healthy Together’ Care management program like COVID-19 ongoing testing, clinical guidance and virtual care;
  3. Run playbooks and cohorts, which leverages Sequoia’s software solution and playbook;
  4. Educate and communicate with relevant content and alerts; and
  5. Analyze and manage the ongoing needs of their employees and the business in a dynamic situation.

“It’s an incredibly challenging moment for CEOs ready to reopen their offices. They’re eager to get back to work but want to ensure the health and safety of their employees, their business, and their communities,” said Greg Golub, founder and CEO of Sequoia. “What’s needed by most companies is a program that helps them execute a pragmatic, integrated solution. We believe software solutions like the Return to Work Center are needed as a standard for employers in the new world of work.”

Golub added, “I am appreciative of our team who built the Sequoia Platform in such a way that we could respond the way we did in this time of need. We are energized to help our clients, their families, and their communities. I am equally grateful for our partners like One Medical and Wilson Sonsini, who came together with us to deliver something so useful to reopen our country’s workplaces.”

The Sequoia Return to Work Center is expected to be available in June, 2020. RTW Center is an add-on to Sequoia’s Workforce Platform that provides a range of services and solutions that take care of companies’ healthcare, wellbeing, risk management, and HR & Payroll outsourcing.
